Firefly watching…

Alitaptap sa tagalog ang firefly di ba? Si dahleng ko nag aaya sa Kota Tinggi para daw sa firefly watching malapit sa beach. He said he will arrange it, so okay, sana matuloy. Naalala ko tuloy nung mga bata pa kami dun sa aming probins, pag gabi na at wala kuryente ay nanghuhuli kami ng alitaptap at nilalagay namin sa garapon, kaso tinatakpan namin si garapon kaya yung liwanag ng alitaptap ay humihina habang nanghihina din si alitaptap. Those were the simple days. Sabi nga ng Inay dun daw sa tapat ng bahay namin nung sila naman ang mga bata pa ay me isang puno ng sampalok, malaki yung puno at sa gabi daw ay punong puno ng alitaptap, para daw tuloy christmas tree ang effect. Ganung effect ang dadayuhin daw namin ni labs sa Kota Tinggi. Imagine, ngayon you have to go to a certain place para sa firefly watching samantalang it was previously on your doorstep and you never did have any idea how special that was, such irony. Lola's 96th Birthday...

Last March 10 was Lola's 96th birthday and all of us have arranged some get together party for her. Lahat kami apo pitched in a certain amount para sa handa and they had the party from 4pm till 8pm. Just a close get together with the whole clan and some visitors from around our compound. All in all she has a wonderful time..with much crying and laughing and being so excited about the whole thing, tatlo daw cake nya hehehe...y..un nga lang we are not there to celebrate with her pero we make it up by calling that day... Imagine 96 years old!! whew.... Happy Birthday Lola Mary...we love you...

Just came back from a wonderful dinner that Labs has arranged for us. I’m so happy and so full & bloated too, ate too much hehe…sayans I forgot to bring our camera. Thanks Labs and happy anniversary again…
