How time flies….

Here’s what happened so far:
- The new job is too far from home, a two hour travel just going there but I am still thankful that I have this job even with this on-going crisis
- March was spent adjusting to the new job, work okay compared to previous jobs, I don’t have much work load, it somehow helps that I am on the client side nyehehe
- Went back for a short visit during holy week and attended Madam Ofie’s 25th wedding anniversary, that was nice coz we get to dressed up formally…so much fun
- Went for Mico’s dedication and MJ baptismal, that was nice being ninong and ninang
- Had some fun attending team building at the office, the next one will be paintball whatever daw
- Eric is so busy with his bowling game with SAMA and some golf
- Had the May1 labor day spent spring cleaning, as in naki-isa sa labor day, it was a long week end just shopping and eating
- Rachel went back for Tatay’s May 1 bday, the family and kids are all well

Not too much eh, but the time comes and goes so quickly and now it’s almost mid May..
That’s all I guess, I hope I can update this as much as I want too….
Kahiya naman kasi dun sa tatlo kong readers at ala mabasa hehehe….

Lipat Bahay na….

Natuloy din ang paglipat nila sa bagong bahay,. Nitong nakaraang tatlong araw e linis at lipat sila ng ibang kagamitan sa bagong bahay. At kanina nga madaling araw e lumipat na sila, siempre kumpletos rekados sa mga parapernalya gaya ng asin, tubig, bigas, ilaw, at kung ano ano pa para daw sa magandang buhay sa bagong bahay… Alas diyes ng umaga, sinundo ang pari para sa blessing ng buong bahay. Simple lang seremonyas, at sila sila lang pamilya ang naroon. Naghanda ng kiriroy o tutong yata iyun (tsalap nun ha)…. Ganun lang ka simple…..para sa simpleng buhay…. Hay salamat at natapos din…. Next adventure, filling-up the house with new things as the old things seems out of synch somehow….

Another Lunch...

My DC group treat me out today. Again another thai restaurant. Natutuwa naman ako at madami rin naman ang nagpapahalaga sa akin lalo na at malapit na akong umalis dito. And since every month yata ay may umaalis ang biruan ay paliit na lang ng paliit ang table pag me lunch treat sa isang umaalis. Alfred was saying that at the end it will only be him in a fast food restaurant wishing himself well with a combo meal hehehe... Enjoy naman ako sa lunch namin. I was with Cons, Alfred, Jenny, Kui cheng, Joyce, Shao qing and Lina. Thanks guys...

Leaving Home for the kids Future…

Is this always the case for most of the families back home, willing to suffer being away from each other so the kids will have better future?? As it is my brother in law will leave tomorrow for Libya on a commissioning job. He has resigned on his permanent post as supervisor in the process industry near our place to earn more. His earnings on the local job, though not that minimal is not enough for the increasing expenses of kids going to school and at the same time managing the everyday living expenses aside from house mortgages. Such is the life of middle class earner back home. And such are the cases of continuous giving-up of permanent positions and good pays to go out of the country and earn more, at least earn enough to have all the basic necessities covered up….. What’s really sad to know is that my nephews will probably grow up without their father’s guidance.
