Almost a month late na for completion, but still hoping it will be completed by mid October. Anyway it’s almost done with some balance finishes here and there… Here’s the latest photos:

Sale! Sale! Sale!

Box-up time

Give or take 2-3wks shipment / clearing time, andun ang kahon sa pinas by 4tt week of October, tamang tama sa uwi namin…. Entonces wala munang papaskong kahon ngayong taon….bow….

Quote of the Day

Galing ulet sa mga forwarded email: “Happiness keeps you sweet, Trials keep you strong, Sorrow keeps you human, Failure keeps you humble, and Success keeps you glowing, but only Faith and Attitude keeps you going…..”

Novena Church / Mama Mary’s Procession

Well, since we have started again going to Thomson Medical which is very near the Novena Church, we made it a point to attend the 10am or the 11am Novena Service. It’s in English and a bit different from what novena is like in the Philippines. Here the service contains a readings of thanksgiving letters as well as petition letters, of course not all are being read, I think they choose randomly. And the priest will give a sermon and lastly there will be a benediction of the blessed sacrament …We both find it soothing to go every week and just pray, the crowd is always big and a mix of different nationalities but even though there’s a big crowd, you’ll not be distracted as the service is always so solemn. And as it is Mother Mary’s birthday today, the celebration was done yesterday. We thought we are early as we left the house two hours before the procession starts but when we arrived at the church there was too much crowd that we ended up standing with some of the crowds on the opposite

Two days to go until contract completion and there’s still a lot of finishing to do. I’ve spoken with the contractor and he committed to complete the whole work by end Sept at the latest. Even if I am a bit doubtful, I have to take his words. I just hope that it will be completed by then since our plan is to go home by Oct just in time for a house warming. Well, here’s the latest pictures sent, all interior shots. Kitchen counter tops done, cabinets in progress, flooring done except external floors, primer paint done, ceiling done, partially done stairs and railings. I really, really hope this will be completed by month end.
