Leaving Home for the kids Future…

Is this always the case for most of the families back home, willing to suffer being away from each other so the kids will have better future??

As it is my brother in law will leave tomorrow for Libya on a commissioning job. He has resigned on his permanent post as supervisor in the process industry near our place to earn more. His earnings on the local job, though not that minimal is not enough for the increasing expenses of kids going to school and at the same time managing the everyday living expenses aside from house mortgages. Such is the life of middle class earner back home. And such are the cases of continuous giving-up of permanent positions and good pays to go out of the country and earn more, at least earn enough to have all the basic necessities covered up…..

What’s really sad to know is that my nephews will probably grow up without their father’s guidance. Their father will not be there to see the important events in their growing –up years, all the milestones on their schooling years, all the male bonding as they grow-up……
I hope someday Jolo & Iel will realize and appreciate the sacrifice that Imat did so that they’ll have a better future
